What’s Up With That?

Just in the last couple of years we’ve started seeing many, many examples of extremely young musicians playing at an extremely high level. This particular one, though … wow! She plays with wit and verve and power, and you can see that she understands the contours and dynamics of the piece she’s playing.
How is this possible? Has humanity made a giant evolutionary leap? I can’t see any other explanation, unless you want to go with mass reincarnation as a possibility. Which I guess boils down to the same thing! Hmmm …
