As I write this, New Orleans faces the possibility of an ecological disaster. Bad weather coming, and the Mississippi River is way too high for comfort. And so on, all over the world. The shift is on.
We can pray for a change in the weather, but we know that systems in motion move as they will. Let us instead, or should I say also, pray for a change in our own hearts.
May we find the will, political and otherwise, to do what we can, where we can.
May we help each other.
May we live in faith, hope and love.
Our simple prayer for today:
Sweet Spirit – calm the storm, still the wind. In the world, and in our hearts. Amen.
